We believe that any action, no matter how small, can play a part in helping to balance the biodiversity crisis and we have begun our journey as follows:
We have planted shrubs, flowers, and grasses in our courtyard to encourage birds and insects, and provide food and nourishment.
We have installed bug boxes into our planters to provide shelter for insects.
We provide full recycling facilities as reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill potentially increases the amount of space which can be left for natural habitat conservation.
We have achieved a Gold Tourism Award and make the most of the resources provided to understand how we can make a positive biodiversity impact.
We signpost our guests to local activities that help encourage their interest in wildlife watching and conservation.
We actively work towards reducing CO2 emissions which is considered responsible for increased rates of climate change which is having an adverse impact on species, habitats and ecosystems.
