We are right in the heart of St Ives, close to the beaches, shops and the harbour where you can book boat trips, fishing trips, join the St Ives Surf School, visit the Harbour Amusements Arcade or just relax on one of the many beautiful golden, sandy beaches.

Blue Fin Fishing Trips

The highly experienced Skipper offers a variety of fishing trips from his offshore 32, Blue Fin. The vessel is equipped with all of the latest technology and equipment to maximise your fishing experience.

St Ives has some of the best fishing grounds in the country with a large mixture of species including shark, huss, turbot, brill, bass, cod, pollock and haddock. You can either charter the boat direct or join in with one of the numerous trips available.


Kidz R Us Theatre Company

St Ives Theatre

Kidz R Us is an award-winning youth theatre company, dedicated to getting young people involved in the performing arts, to support their development and the wider community. Rave reviews and standing ovations are a bonus!

We work with around 100 children, teenagers and young adults a year, and since 1994 have produced more than 100 shows and won numerous awards. Watch out for our unmissable musicals during half-terms and holidays, and a traditional family panto at Christmas.

Our home is St Ives Theatre, in the heart of St Ives. There’s usually something going on here, even if it’s not one of our shows, so keep an eye on What’s On. Sir Tim Rice is our Patron and our Director, Phil Barnett, was awarded a British Empire Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2012.


Royal St Ives Cinema

The Royal Cinema is situated at the bottom of The Stennack in Royal Square, opposite the Co-op.

The Malakoff bus station and St Ives railway station are a few minutes walk from the cinema if you go down Tregenna Hill and turn left just before the Library building.

Most buses stop in Royal Square or at the bus station. There is a large car park two minutes walk from the cinema, up the Stennack, the car park entrance is next to a launderette and the St Ives Health Centre.


The Cornish Seal Sanctuary

The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seals pup from around the Cornish Coastline.

Each season, the Sanctuary rehabilitates over 70 seal pups that have been rescued for various reasons, from malnourishment to being separated from their mum.

The Sanctuary also provides a permanent home to animals that need special care from their team of marine animal experts.

Visit our cottage mascot, Noddy the seal pup, who we have adopted at the sanctuary. Please leave some information about how he is doing and what he got up to during your visit in the visitors book.


Surf School

St Ives Surf School is highly regarded as one of the best places to learn to surf in St Ives.

They offer highly skilled and experienced tuition for kids and adults alike with the highest standards of safety applied at all times. The school also provide stand up paddle boarding, coasteering and sea kayaking activities from our beautiful beach locations in the heart of St Ives.

All of the instructors are CRB checked and trained life guards.


Cape Cornwall Golf & Leisure

Cape Cornwall Golf & Leisure is often described as one of Cornwall’s hidden gems. It is a truly unique place to get away, relax and unwind in comfortable informal surroundings that has a touch of Cornish charm with contemporary styling.

Situated on the wild and rugged cliff tops of the Cornish costal path and overlooking ‘Poldarks’ Brison rocks, we are a great destination to stay and explore this wonderful area. We are often referred to as a walkers paradise with a unique location, fine dining and welcoming accommodation.


Source Kitchen

You can start your day with a breakfast at Source Kitchen which is located close by to our cottages on The Digey. They serve incredible Single Origin Burundi coffee, hand roasted by Cornico in Cornwall and also bake cakes, scones and biscuits that can be enjoyed throughout the day or packaged up for you to enjoy back at your Cottage.

At lunch you’ll find an exciting menu that will be a treat for seafood lovers, vegetarians and meat eaters. Have a relaxing lunch in the restaurant or take it back to your cottage, or to the beach.

Dinner at Source Kitchen is all about sharing, ingredient focused and led by season. Enjoy snacks, small plates, large plates and desserts all designed to be shared by the table.

Porthminster Beach Cafe

This delightful award-winning seafood restaurant is nestled beneath the steep slopes of Porthminster Point, right on the beach with unbeatable and uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse.

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and specialises in Mediterranean and Asian seafood cuisine it is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and a  selection of homemade patisserie and fine coffees from St Ives Small Batch Coffee Roasting Company. We advise to book in advance and on sunny days request an outside table on the terrace overlooking the sea, there’s no better way to enjoy the wonderful food and setting. The sunsets are to die for!


The Loft

The Loft is situated in the quaint artists quarter of the picturesque town of St Ives. Their menu follows an ethos of finding the best local ingredients and cooking simply but with with passion. There is a sun terrace that overlooks the beautiful bay where you can enjoy the wonderful menus on offer which change with the seasons.

If you love sea-food then make sure you try the Westcountry Oysters and truly delicious Cornish mussels. Meat eaters will be wowed by the extensive mixed grill or tender steaks. There is an early eater menu for those who like to dine earlier in the evening.

The Bean Inn

The Bean Inn is based on the ground floor of its sister business, Coast B&B, and is open to non-residents. All of their dishes are approved by the Vegetarian Society and they are part of their Food & Drink Guild. All of their dishes are vegan or can be adapted.

Bean Inn aim to offer you some of the tastiest vegetarian and vegan dishes from around the world. Bringing you the best flavours using the best quality ingredients. They therefore use local, organic and seasonal produce whenever possible. Their cleaning and laundry products & soaps are environmentally friendly and free from animal ingredients. None of the products are tested on animals.

The Bean Inn is also licensed and all drinks are vegan friendly. With a carefully selected drinks list including organic options and award winning locally made wines and beers.
